What are the differences between Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology and Drafting?

Electrical Engineering is more theoretical and employs higher - level math and physics, to prepare you for a career in product design or systems research.

Electrical Engineering Technology gives you more practical experience with the installation, maintenance and operation of components and instruments.  It also bridges the gap between technicians or Electricians and Engineers with an understanding of both operations and design.  Technology combines an understanding ot theory and design with hands on operational experience.

Drafting is important between great ideas and actual products, building, processes or services.  Drafting is a universal method of communication that is understood by technitians, engineers, designers and architects all over the world.

Both Electrical Enginnering and Technology can be accredited by ABET.org . The IEEE is a very helpful site as well.
